Earth

Home, with the Moon and a big, bright Sun. Every run starts here.

Earth is the third planet from the Sun and, as far as we know, the only world that has ever hosted life. About 71 percent of its surface is ocean, and its atmosphere of nitrogen and oxygen scatters blue sunlight, which is why the planet looks blue from space.

The Moon orbits about 384,400 km away. It is unusually large compared with the planet it circles, and its pull raises the tides and steadies the tilt of Earth's axis, which keeps the seasons fairly stable over long stretches of time.

Flying through the Earth sector in Comet Courier

Earth is the launch sector. You leave with a full tank, the Moon off one side and the Sun burning bright on the other. It is also where the wormhole drops you after each delivery, so a new loop always starts here.
